Women's Wellness Specialist
Personal Trainer, Nutritionist

I didn't think much about my own wellness before I became pregnant with my first child in 2002. That was also the first time I picked up a book about nutrition. Since then I have been in constant pursuit of knowledge of how food and exercise work in and on the body, and how to help women just like me to find the way to make themselves fit seamlessly into their own skin. This is a very real mental struggle. One that I have been through. And I have a sincere desire to help women completely reestablish the way they view their health through learning the facts, exploring the methods, and ultimately deciding who it is that they want to be.
Through the years I have found myself as a commercial and personal chef, Pilates instructor, P.E. Teacher, and Personal Trainer.
Now I specialize in helping those trying to forge a new wellness path, those that have gotten lost on the one they're on, and those who have completely lost sight of what they know they should do.
I am passionate about helping women through their birthing year, and to reinvent their bodies post-pregnancy. I also help with rehabilitation, and work with all fitness levels to achieve their goals and get and remain pain and injury free.
My personal life keeps me busy with my three beautiful daughters, my wonderful husband, my two feisty dogs, and my South Austin home.

I believe that we can make many changes in our lives in a myriad of ways. We can make changes within ourselves by breaking negative thinking patterns, learning new ways to manage and react to feelings, or by changing behavioral habits. We can also makes changes in our physical and social world, and I seek to help you make decisions and find solutions by identifying realistic, practical, achievable goals. Core to my practice is a belief that therapy does not need to be painful to be effective, and that smaller changes lead to more and bigger changes.
If you are seeking help for your child or teen, I can also help. Kids are not just little adults. I have specialized training in various play therapy techniques as well as sand tray therapy, and am also sensitive to unique issues involved in working with adolescents.
